For every action in the tool bar above there is a shortcut. Most of the time this doesn't save yo a lot of time but for repetitive tasks you can copy and paste things to speed it up.

If you have a url ( http://blah) you can link using the tools above or simply add (img] and (/img] tages at the beginning and end of the url. The clan recruiting picture is https://i.servimg.com/u/f47/14/67/22/83/new_fi10.jpg but if you post that in a thread it will just be a link. I have put a normal bracket ( on the img tags so it won't work so you can see it. Replace the ( with a [ for it to work
If you add (img] and (/img] tags to the url it will display the pic.
